When We Think of Home
We’re raising $50,000 for our first ever home.
Since incorporation, we have redistributed an average $10,778 overall per year for Black LGBTQ+ individuals in Massachusetts. Of that nearly $11,000, 30% has gone directly to our microgrants program benefitting individuals with urgent housing, medical, nutrition and transportation needs. In addition to a plethora of arts and culture events and programming, we have hosted 3 cycles of BIG THANKS, our annual food drive nourishing community during the Winter/holiday season.
Now, we are ready for a home!
We envision a healthy, accessible space equipped with the features essential to us executing our work—fostering space for community cultivation, resource redistribution and joy. Some of these features include: regular extermination service as needed, self-controlled heating and cooling (vital for fierce New England winters), accessible entrances and exits for differently-abled people and adequate seating/resting places for all body types.
